Engstrom Department of Criminology, Davis & Elkins College, Elkins, West Virginia, USARonda Shepherd Engstrom, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Criminology at Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia. Dr. Engstrom has published in Crime & Delinquency and her research interests include foster care and offending, youth transitioning out of care, educational engagement as a protective factor, and resiliency. Dr. Engstrom’s serves her community as a volunteer to a state correctional facility and a board member of the Centers Against Violence.
