She is now Professor of Sociology and Interim Department Head of Sociology and Political Science at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. Her areas of interest in teaching and research are broad but generally fall under the umbrella of Theory, Gender, and Deviance. She is the co-author (w/Craig J. Forsyth) of Gendered Power Dynamics and Exotic Dance: A Multi-level Analysis (Taylor and Francis 2022), and co-author (w/Craig J.
