His research focuses on the ways in which peer and family contexts, legal socialization, and legitimate authority affect involvement in crime and delinquency.Dr. Ellen Cohn, is a Professor Emeritus in the Psychology Department and Justice Studies Program at the University of New Hampshire. Her research focused on legal socialization, or how people develop attitudes toward rule-violating behavior.Dr. Karen Van Gundy, is a Professor in the Sociology Department and the Justice Studies Department at the University of New Hampshire. Her research focuses on the sociology of mental health, substance use, deviance, delinquency, dealing with stress, life course, and gender.
