Her research focuses on interpersonal and intergroup violence, as well as violence reduction and social deviance. Through her academic work and teaching, she contributes to advancing understanding of the causes of violence and developing approaches to reduce harmful behaviors in society.Gil Haim Amit, MA, received his Master’s degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research focuses on sexual offending, social deviance, and the rehabilitation of sexual offenders. His academic interests include the social and psychological dynamics of deviant behavior and approaches to offender rehabilitation.Noam Haviv is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law, Police Science and Criminal Justice Administration and a faculty member in the International Criminal Justice Program at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York. He also serves as the CJBS Major Coordinator. His research focuses on victimization, prison rehabilitation, diversion programs, and vulnerable populations, including survivors of sex trafficking. Using both quantitative and qualitative methods, his work evaluates criminal justice interventions and aims to inform evidence based policy and practice.
