She is fellow of the Friedrich-Ebert Foundation.Dirk Baier studied Sociology at the University of Chemnitz, got his doctoral degree from the University of Bremen, worked at the Criminological Research Institute of Lower Saxony (Hanover) and is now Professor of Criminology at the University of Zurich and Head of the Institute of Delinquency and Crime Prevention at the ZAHW in Zurich.
