Dr Tzani joined the University of Huddersfield in 2017 after completing her PhD in Bullying and Cyberbullying. Presently, Dr Tzani is a senior lecturer for the University of Huddersfield, forensic editor of the BPS journal ADM, and deputy director of ACPC, with experience in the fields of psychology, human well-being, development, teaching, and human support. Dr Tzani’s research is focused mainly on wellbeing of children, bullying, and cyber-bullying prevention, but also conducts research on sextortion, criminal behavior, fraud, and cybercrime.Maria Ioannou is a Professor of Psychology, and Course Director for MSc Investigative Psychology. She is a Chartered Forensic Psychologist (British Psychological Society) and an HCPC Registered Psychologist (Forensic). She joined Huddersfield University in 2009 as a Senior Lecturer. Dr Ioannou obtained a first-class undergraduate degree in Psychology, Philosophy, and Pedagogics from the University of Ioannina, Greece, in 2000. In 2001, she completed her MSc in Investigative Psychology at the University of Liverpool. Her dissertation was on the Criminal Narrative Experience focusing on the roles that offenders act out and the emotions they experience while they are committing their crimes. She developed this research for her PhD, which she completed in 2006. Dr Ioannou has been involved in the assessment of intervention programs for reducing/preventing crime for a range of different forms of criminality and groups of offenders. She has also contributed to consultancy reports and been involved in consultancy work with a range of police forces and other agencies such as the Safer Merseyside Partnership, Merseyside Police, Liverpool City Council, Lancashire Constabulary, the Ministry of Defence, the Irish Prison Service as well as in a number of legal cases that involved among others preparation of background material and investigative advice on Forensic Psycholinguistics/Questioned Authorship Attribution, interpretation of psychological measures on a case of offender profiling with personality and other psychometric assessment and analysis of the psychological features indicated within personal documents.Thomas James Vaughan Williams BSC MSC MBPSS AFEA is a current Ph.D. student and part-time lecturer at the university of Huddersfield. His research focuses on ideology and radicalization but also explores topics like climate change, terrorism, and online behaviors.Michelle Drouin (Ph.D., Experimental Psychology, University of Oxford) is the owner and founder of Forensic Psychology Consultants LLC, Professor and Director of the Sexuality and Relationships Lab at Purdue University Fort Wayne, and Senior Research Scientist at Parkview Health’s Mirro Center for Research and Innovation. Dr Drouin is a world-renowned expert in the areas of intimate relationships and sexuality. Her published research spans two decades and includes studies on the intersection between sexuality and technology, Internet-based sex offending, intimate partner violence, and issues related to sexual consent (including alcohol and consent). Dr Drouin’s areas of professional interest include sexual assault, domestic/intimate partner violence, internet-based sex offending (including TCAP cases and child pornography), and other issues related to sex, including adultery and BDSM incidents and relationships.Rachel Fletcher BSC MSC obtained a first-class Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2022 (Forensic Psychology) at Nottingham Trent University, and a Distinction in Investigative Psychology MSc at the University of Huddersfield in 2023. She is a current PhD student researcher at the University of Huddersfield investigating sextortion, stalking, and online criminal activity.
