His articles have appeared in international journals, including Critical Discourse Studies, Language Matters, Discourse and Society, Discourse and Communication, Critical Discourse Studies, Language Matters, Mediální Studia, Athens Journal of Mass Media and Communication, Research in English and Applied Linguistics, World Journal of English Language, Journal of Linguistic Association of Nigeria, Ibadan Journal of Humanistic/English Studies, among others. He has also authored, contributed to and co-edited some books. He is a Postdoctoral Fellow of the African Humanities Programme (AHP) of the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS), New York, USA. He is a 2020 Grantee, Remote-mentorship, African Humanities Programme (AHP) of the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS), Department of Linguistics, University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; and a Fellow of the Georg Forster Fellowship for Experienced Researchers, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Germany.
