His research focuses on moral psychology, moral education, and the prevention of fraud in sport, with special attention to the individual-level antecedents of the phenomenon. He is involved in the Flemish PrOFS project (Prevention of Fraud in Sport).Alain Van Hiel PhD is a senior full professor at the Department of Developmental, Personality and Social Psychology at Ghent University, Belgium. His research focuses on group and interpersonal processes, social perception and cognition, and political psychology. He has extensively studied topics such as authoritarianism, social dominance orientation, and ethnic prejudice. Throughout his career, Professor Van Hiel has contributed significantly to the understanding of social and political attitudes, with numerous publications in esteemed journals. He is involved in the Flemish PrOFS project (Prevention of Fraud in Sport).Leen Haerens PhD is a full professor at the Department of Movement and Sports Sciences at Ghent University, Belgium. She is one of the leading scholars in Belgium and Europe to examine the relevance of Self-Determination Theory (SDT) in the context of physical education and sport. She has acquired expertise with the development of self-report and observation scales of teachers’ motivating style and with SDT-based intervention studies, including objective measures of physical activity, engagement, and performance. She is involved in the Flemish PrOFS project (Prevention of Fraud in Sport).Bram Constandt PhD, is an assistant research professor at the Department of Movement and Sports Sciences at Ghent University, Belgium. His research focuses on integrity management in sport. He has been recognized with several awards, including the 2020 ESMQ New Researcher Award from the European Association for Sport Management and the 2023 Award for Young Promising Science Communicator from the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium.
