Her research examines the applicability of deterrence-based theories to terrorism studies. Her thesis focuses on assessing the impact of counterterrorism interventions on terrorism incidents frequency using advanced quantitative methodologies.Michael Wolfowicz, PhD, is Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Criminology, Faculty of Law, Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research focuses primarily on the application of traditional criminological frameworks, both theoretical and methodological, to the study of radicalization, extremism, and terrorism. His work in this area is reflected in published studies on terrorism and place, recidivism, policing, deterrence, risk and protective factors, as well as media effects.
