His research examines how structural and contextual factors create distinct patterns of victimization and harm in work and labor settings.Lauren N. Moton, PhD is an Assistant Professor at CUNY John Jay College with a joint appointment between the Department of Criminal Justice and the International Criminal Justice Program. Informed by Black feminist and queer criminology, her research agenda broadly examines the intersection of victimization, marginalized identity, and criminal legal systems in both the US and international contexts.
