This solicitation describes the guidelines and requirements of the fiscal year (FY) 2020 State Justice Statistics (SJS) Program for Statistical Analysis Centers (SACs). The information produced by SACs and their involvement in criminal justice projects is important to federal, state, and local criminal justice agencies and community organizations as they develop programs and policies related to crime, illegal drugs, victim services, and the administration of justice. Pursuant to 34 U.S.C. §§ 10131-32, BJS is authorized to “provide for the development of justice information systems programs and assistance to the States, Indian tribes, and units of local government relating to collection, analysis, or dissemination of justice statistics.” For the purpose of this solicitation, the term “state” includes the District of Columbia and U.S. territories.
All registrations and applications are due by 11:59 p.m. eastern time on April 30, 2020.
