Her research focuses on bullying and cyberbullying victimization, bystander intervention, and decision-making within the juvenile justice system. Her recent work has appeared in Crime & Delinquency, Youth Violence and Juvenile Justice, and the International Journal of Bullying Prevention.Reeve Kennedy is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at East Carolina University. Her research focuses on child and adolescent well-being, with a specific focus on bullying, victimization, and child welfare.Kearstyn Ellsworth is a graduate social work student at East Carolina University and a research and teaching assistant. Her research interests include rural community needs focusing on maternal and child health, bullying, and social media. She has received funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration to support her research on improving health outcomes in underserved populations.
