His academic interests are interdisciplinary and draw from applied psychology, sociology and poststructural feminist theory, predominantly studying men and masculinities, men’s mental health, and safe and risk behaviours. He is interested in pathways towards positive human growth. He is a Permanent Research Fellow at Robert Gordon University.David S. His research interests include the manosphere, human sexuality, culture war discourses, political identities and online communications.
