She previously studied computer science at Trier University of Applied Sciences. Her research focuses on privacy by design with a focus on wearables and legal tech. Her doctoral research focuses on the meaningful use of machine learning and AI in the legal field, with a focus on natural language processing.Anna Zichler is a research assistant at the Saarbrücken Centre for Law and Digitization (ZRD Saar). She holds a B.Sc. in Psychology and an M.Sc. in Digital Forensics. Her research focuses on psychological topics at the intersection of IT and Law.Simone Salemi is a research assistant at the Saarbrücken Centre for Law and Digitization (ZRD Saar). She studied law at Saarland University and completed the “LL.M. IT and Law” program. She focuses on the legal side of the intersection of information technology and law and conducts research in particular on the effects of digitalization on criminal law and criminal procedure law. Since 2022, she has been doing her doctorate in this field at the Chair of Legal Informatics at Saarland University.Tim Schneider is a research assistant at the Saarbrücken Centre for Law and Digitization (ZRD Saar). He studied law at Saarland University and at the University of Exeter. His research focuses on the digitalization of civil procedure law as well as data protection law.
