Broadly speaking, Melissa’s research focuses on examining social workers’ practice decisions and judgments in mental health treatment.Katherine Reid is a doctoral candidate in the Emergency Management and Homeland Security Program at Florida State University. Her research focuses on incel violence and emergency management responses to such violence.James J. Clark is the Provost and Executive Vice President of Florida State University. He graduated from the University of Chicago (Ph.D. 1995). He has published in the areas of evidence-based behavioral health, forensic mental health, criminal justice, and ethics and accountability.
