His research interests include bullying victimization, criminological theory, and juvenile delinquency. His most recent scholarship examines bullying victimization among food-allergic youth, e-cigarette use among youth, and variability in general strain theory processes by marital relationships.Brandy N. Rocheleau, J.D., M.A. is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Ball State University. Her specialty area is in criminal law and victimization. Her current research focuses on bullying victimization and sentencing.Kirsten Piatak is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at High Point University with previous experience serving as the director of a sexual violence program, outreach, and training at a nonprofit organization. Her research interests include sexual victimization and interpersonal violence of marginalized victims, gender-based violence, and effective prevention programming.Izzy J. Thompson is an undergraduate student studying Criminal Justice and Criminology at Ball State University. Her research interests include gender identity and juvenile delinquency.
