She received a B.A. in Environmental Engineering from Beijing University of Technology and an M.D. in Environmental Assessment and Management from the University of East Anglia (UK). She is also a lecturer in the School of Law at Shihezi University. The interdisciplinary research experience makes her enthusiastically involved in research fields related to environmental law, especially green criminology, environmental justice, environmental regulations and management.Mingqing You is a Professor in the Law School at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and a Visiting Professor at Tulane Law School. Prof. You is an expert on environmental law with a particular focus on international environmental law, wildlife crime, liabilities for environmental damages, environmental economics and policy.
