With a background and training as an analytic philosopher, his interests span metaphilosophy, later Wittgenstein and Gilbert Ryle, philosophy of language, political and social philosophy, the philosophy of extremism, cultural studies, and terrorism studies. His most recent research project centres on contemporary far-right extremism.
