Her research explores the impact of transnational ties on the physical and mental health, as well as the deviant behaviors, of diverse migrant groups.Hyojong Song, is an associate professor in the Department of Sociology at Korea University, Seoul, South Korea. His research areas cover testing theories of crime and delinquency, deviant behavior in cyberspace, and environmental crime and justice.Juyeon Kim, is a professor in the Department of Urban Sociology at University of Seoul, Seoul, South Korea. Her researh focuses on understanding gender differences in health within various social contexts, including social realtinoships (family, social networks, transnational ties), work-family balance, rest and recovery inequality, and access to health care.
