Her research interests include event security, threat assessment and reporting, policing, and terrorism.Camden Carmichael is a Graduate Research Assistant at the National Counterterrorism Innovation Technology and Education (NCITE) center and an M.A. Student in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice. His research interests include federal courts, ISIS, and emerging threats.Austin Doctor is a political scientist at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology, and Education (NCITE) Center, the Department of Homeland Security Center of Excellence for counterterrorism. He has served as a fellow with the Modern War Institute at the United States Military Academy at West Point as well as the National Strategic Research Institute, a Department of Defense University Affiliated Research Center. His research focuses on militant actors, terrorism and irregular warfare, and emerging threats. He earned his PhD from the School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Georgia.Seamus Hughes is a senior researcher for the University of Nebraska at Omaha at the National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology, and Education (NCITE) Center, the Department of Homeland Security Center of Excellence for counterterrorism. Hughes has previously worked for the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, the National Counterterrorism Center, and held a variety of academic positions.
