His research explores developmental, situational, and comparative dimensions of youth delinquency and crime involvement. He also examines the economic activities of organised crime groups.Anna-Karin Ivert, is an associated professor in Criminology at Malmö University. Her research focuses on how the social environment affects children’s and adolescents’ development related to issues of crime and mental health. She has also conducted research in fields such as intimate partner violence and gang related violence. Her research also covers topics such crime prevention and how actors such as the police, social services, and civil society collaborate on issues related to crime prevention.Marie Torstensson Levander, is a professor in Criminology at Malmo University. Her research involves cross-national, longitudinal studies, gender differences and crime, neighbourhoodvariations of crime, victimization and fear of crime and strategies of crime prevention in the police organization. She is currently the PI of the Malmo Individual and NeighbourhoodDevelopment Study (MINDS), a longitudinal project which aims to advance knowledge aboutcrime causation and prevention.
