Understanding Perception-Based Definitions of Corruption: A Look at Deontological and Consequentialist Views of Corruption in Portugal and Spain
Inês Ascenso Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, Lisbon, PortugalInês Ascenso is a PhD Candidate for International Studies at Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa since September 2024. Her thesis project focuses on self-reinforcing corruption, namely through individuals and society, looking at social norms and behavioral theories. She was awarded a scholarship by FCT (Scholarship Reference: 2024.01406.BD). She published one article as the main author for the European Journal of Social Psychology. She has also helped organize an academic event, where she was part of the evaluation panel for research proposals. Currently, she is participating in 1 project as a Research Assistant.
