Understanding the Changes in Role of Moral Disengagement, Legal Cynicism and Exposure to Violence in Adolescent Polydrug Use Through Fixed-Effects Analyses
Yu-Heng Chen Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, USAYu-Heng (Steven) Chen, M.Sc., M.A., is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Criminal Justice and a 2025–2026 Public Policy Lab Research Team Fellow at Temple University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Crime Prevention and Corrections from Central Police University in Taiwan, a master’s degree in Human Rights and International Politics (with Merit) from the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom, and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Temple University. Before beginning his doctoral studies, he served as a correctional officer in Taiwan. His research interests include corrections, reentry, substance abuse, life-course criminology, and comparative justice.
