Ami Pedahzur Leon H. Charney School of Marine Sciences, University of Haifa, IsraelAmi Pedahzur is a member of the departments of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies and Leon H. Charney School of Marine Sciences at the University of Haifa. In addition, he serves as the head of the Chaikin Institute for Geo-Strategy, also at the University of Haifa. Before this, Pedahzur was a Professor in the Department of Government at the University of Texas at Austin from 2004 to 2023. Pedahzur’s research focuses on radicalism, terrorism, and the intersection of technology and warfare. He has authored several books on these subjects, including: – The Triumph of Israel’s Radical Right (Oxford University Press, 2012) – Jewish Terrorism in Israel (co-authored with Arie Perliger, Columbia University Press, 2011) – The Israeli Secret Services and The Struggle against Terrorism (Columbia University Press, 2010).
