Immigration status and gun control support in higher education: the mediating role of political ideology

His research interests include gun policies, comparative criminology, policing, adolescent behavior and health, immigration, and race. Samuel earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Ibadan, widely regarded as Nigeria’s premier university. He has received several awards, including the Outstanding Master’s Student in Criminal Justice Award from the School of Applied Sciences at the University of Mississippi. He also received the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS) awards. He has published in reputable journals such as Preventive Medicine, Health Education & Behavior, and Crime and Delinquency. He has served as a Managing Editor for Policing: An International Journal.
