Her research concerns the policing of protest in Australia, with a particular focus on anti-protest legislation, police and prosecutorial discretion, and the impact of protest regulation on democratic freedoms. Her broader research interests include criminal law, policing, human rights, and socio-legal studies.Milind Tiwari is Senior Lecturer in Financial Crime at the Australian Graduate School of Policing and Security, Charles Sturt University, and Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Banking Law, Faculty of Law, University of Johannesburg. His research focuses on money laundering and financial crime detection, including the use of data analytics and emerging technologies.
