He is an associate member of the Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science. He is interested in the systems and services that support individuals after involvement with the justice system, with a specific interest in young people and their workers.Dr Ben Arnold Lohmeyer is a Senior Lecturer in Social Policy at Flinders University and a member of the Flinders University Institute for Mental Health and Wellbeing. His research and teaching are in the sociology of youth and social harm, with intersections into youth policy and youth work practice. Ben started his career in youth work in alternative education and accommodation before transitioning into academia.Dr James Roffee’s research career focuses on improving responses to victims of crime, sexual offences and the use and impact of the criminal law on victims and marginalised groups. James now works for Government of South Australia. He does not attribute work to current employer.
