Service-Learning with Undergraduate Criminal Justice Majors: A Comparison of Campus and Online Students on Reflective Learning

April N TerryFort Hays State UniversityDr. April Terry is an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at Fort Hays State University, specializing in four lines of research: juvenile corrections, gender and crime, rural criminology, and gender-based violence. Since 2018, Dr. Terry has helped secure more than $575,000 for initiatives surrounding justice issues, published several dozen manuscripts and book chapters including system-involved individuals, and has more than 100 local, regional, or national presentations on prevention and intervention efforts. She serves on many professional appointments and collaborations including work with the Kansas Department of Corrections-Juvenile Services, the Kansas Advisory Group on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and the Multi-Branch Community of Practice: Kansas State Delegation Committee.
