She received her master’s degree in social work in 2016 from Bangor University. Her major research interests include strength-based approaches, resilience and anti-oppressive practice. She currently works as qualification development manager for Welsh Awarding Body Agored Cymru.Dr Stuart Beattie is a faculty member of the Institute of the Psychology of Elite Performance (in the School of Psychology and Sport Science) and Bangor University. He teaches postgraduate courses in performance psychology with a particular interest in mental toughness and resilience. Dr Beattie is also the course director for the school’s fully distant learning MSc degree in Performance Psychology.Dr Ross Roberts is a faculty member in the Institute for the Psychology of Elite Performance (in the School of Psychology and Sport Science) and Bangor University where he teaches postgraduate courses in sport, exercise and performance psychology. His primary interests revolve around the influence of individual differences in personality in relation to performance and health.Professor Lew Hardy is a retired professor in performance psychology from the Institute for the Psychology of Elite Performance (in the School of Psychology and Sport Science) and Bangor University. His central research interest is the psychology of very high-level performance, including the effects of stress, mental toughness, motivation, the utility of psychological skills and strategies, transformational leadership, and teamwork.Stephen Wood, BSc (Hons) QTS, is the Senior Manager for Youth Justice Services in Gwynedd and Anglesey, he has work in Youth Justice for 27 years. His primary role is to manage a multi-agency service and provide effective, child-centered support for children and young people in the justice system. In addition he holds several advisory positions, influencing youth justice strategy and practice in Wales.
