Philip Q. Yang Noe Leal Texas Woman’s University, Denton, TX, USAPhilip Q. Yang is Professor of Sociology at Texas Woman’s University. He is the author of three books, the editor of four books, and an author of more than 100 articles in numerous refereed journals and edited volumes. His research has received funding from various sources including the National Science Foundation.Noe Leal Jr. recently received his Ph.D. degree in sociology from Texas Woman’s University and will be a lecturer at the University of Texas-Rio grande Valley starting in the coming academic year. His areas of research interest include criminology, criminal justice, and Latinx studies. His publications have appeared in the Journal of Ethnicity in Criminal Justice, the Journal of Ethnicity in Substantive Abuse, and the Sociological Imagination.
