Her research interests include the examination of issues involved with police/public interactions, the study of police officer stress, burnout, and turnover, studies on the short- and long-term impacts of arrest, and diversity issues in the American criminal justice system.Dr. Beth M. Rauhaus is a professor and department head of Political Science at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Her research explores gender representation and issues of diversity and equity in the public sector. She currently serves on the editorial board of the American Review of Public Administration and Public Personnel Management.
