His research interests include criminal justice education, federal oversight of police, and 9/11 first responder health. Dr. Ostrowe was the 2021 recipient of the ACJS Ken Peak Innovations in Teaching Award.Julia K. Czubak served as the research assistant for this project, and recently graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. Her research interest is on disparities in legal representation and prosecution.
