Matthew McCarthy Department of Criminal Justice, Northeast Community College, Norfolk NEMatthew McCarthy is the Program Director and lead criminal justice instructor at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska, a position he has held for 25 years. Prior to that he was a law enforcement officer in Nebraska for almost 20 years. McCarthy is the senior member of the Nebraska Police Standards Advisory Council, and sits on the board of directors for Lapsen Inc, the Nebraska State Education Association, is on the SkillsUSA National Education Team for Crime Scene Investigation. He is an active member and past president of the Community College section of ACJS, as well as a frequent presenter at ACJS and the Southern Criminal Justice Association conferences.
