He has published over 120 peer-reviewed manuscripts on topics covering public health, nutrition, cultural competency in health education, global health issues, medical humanities, and international health (North Africa/Near East emphasis).Patricia J. Kelly is a Professor of Nursing at Thomas Jefferson University and retired editor of the journal Public Health Nursing. She has worked to address women’s health inequities over the past 40 years in both academic and community settings. Her research and extensive publication record have focused on improving the lives of girls and women.Stephen F. Gambescia is professor of health services administration and Director of the Doctor of Health Science program in the College of Nursing and Health Professions at Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA.Suha Ballout is an Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging and Associate Professor of Nursing at the University of Washington. Her research focuses on advancing health equity through antiracist and inclusive nursing education, culturally responsive care, and workforce diversity.
