Her PhD research explores the impact of the Prevent strategy on young Muslim women’s and educators lived experiences and how Prevent operates within the post-16 education sector. Her work is interdisciplinary and situated within Critical Terrorism and Critical Race studies, whilst focusing on gender and securitisation.
