Cathleen McCarron Division of Arts & Humanities and Social & Behavioral Sciences, Cape Cod Community College, West Barnstable, MA, USACathleen McCarron has worked in higher education for more than 30 years, serving as both an administrator and a long-time faculty member. She is an academic dean at Cape Cod Community College where she oversees the areas of Arts and Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Adult Basic Education. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English at Boston College, her master’s in literature at Northeastern University, and her doctorate in Higher Education Leadership at UMASS-Boston. Her work in faculty professional development informs her interest in studying Community College Criminal Justice faculty who conduct research.
