Lee JarvisUniversity of East Anglia, Norwich, UKLee Jarvis was Professor of International Politics at the University of East Anglia, UK at submission of this article. He is now Professor of International Politics at Loughborough University, UK, and an Adjunct Professor in the School of Social Sciences at the University of Adelaide, Australia. Lee is author or editor of fifteen books and over fifty articles on the politics of security, including Times of Terror: Discourse, Temporality and the War on Terror; Security: A Critical Introduction (with Jack Holland); and Banning Them, Securing Us? Terrorism, Parliament and the Ritual of Proscription (with Tim Legrand). His work has been funded by the ESRC, the AHRC, the Australian Research Council, NATO, and others.
