Her research interests include drug use and policy, criminal justice education, and policing. Recent research projects include an ethnography on the Satanic Temple Sober Faction, a peer-based recovery group, as well as analyses on statewide police misconduct records.Weston J. Morrow is an associate professor and the Graduate Director in the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Nevada, Reno. His research interests include Fourth Amendment jurisprudence, policing, racial and ethnic disparities in the criminal justice system, and correctional officer well-being.Sam Vickovic is a Full Professor in the School of Criminology, Criminal Justice, and Emergency Management at California State University, Long Beach. His main areas of specialization are correctional officer well-being, predictors of entrance into law enforcement careers, and the intersection of media, crime, and criminal justice systems. Recent research projects include an examination of how negative perceptions of law enforcement have influenced whether individuals want to pursue a career in law enforcement and research on predictors of correctional officer turnover, job stress, and job satisfaction.
