Introducing Ethics: An Examination of the Coverage of Ethics in Introductory Criminal Justice Textbooks

Lepage is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at California State University, East Bay. Dr. Lepage’s research interests are concentrated in the areas of the criminal adjudication process, lay judges, rural justice, socio-legal studies and social reaction to crime via the criminalization process. His current research projects include program evaluation of holistic defense models, the utility of lay judges and their use internationally.Dr. Kate Luther is an Associate Professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Pacific Lutheran University. Dr. Luther’s research is focused on the collateral consequences of parental incarceration on children. She has also co-edited the book, Teaching Criminology at the Intersection, for teaching criminology and criminal justice on the intersections of gender, race, class and sexuality.
